Why Chesterfield's?
"Chesterfield" is the classic Canadian word for a sofa. We chose it because we wanted this place to feel like your parents' living room—the cozy spot where you could break the rules and eat on the couch. That's the comfort we bring to the table every day.

A Social Co-Op at Heart
We operate less like a strict business and more like a community kitchen. Dominique, Demian, and the crew run this place together, treating every guest like a neighbor. We source from local farms and keep it simple: good people, good food.

We believe in keeping our carbon footprint light. Our diner is outfitted with thrifted and second-hand furniture, we use zero styrofoam, and our entire kitchen runs on 100% green hydroelectricity. It's comfort food that doesn't cost the earth.
